News of the Vocabulary Quiz Tab Update and 5 Useful English Expressions from Holes
Hello! A new week has begun. It was quite a tiring day as I got off work late, perhaps because it's Monday, but I am wrapping up the day with some light reading as usual.
Actually, I updated the vocabulary page before heading to work today. Finally, a [Quiz] tab has been newly added to the vocabulary list! You can now solve simple quizzes to test your understanding of the words you studied today and yesterday. I have designed it so you can revisit and practice repeatedly, so I hope you make the most of it during your review sessions.
Realistic Worries About Weekday Reading and Future Plans
It seems that it’s truly not easy to find dedicated personal time after getting off work on weekdays. Even when I try to carve out time to open a book, my reading speed limits me to just 5–6 pages a day at most.
Therefore, I plan to continue reading a little at a time during the weekdays to maintain the flow, and instead, focus on securing more dedicated reading time on the weekends. Fortunately, there is a public library near my house, so I am thinking of visiting the library on weekends to create an environment where I can fully immerse myself. If there are others who have started reading English books together, I am curious about how you manage your time during the weekdays.
Furthermore, following the vocabulary quiz, I am brainstorming the launch of a Discord community space as the next update. If opened, I think it would be a great place to communicate with you all more comfortably and hear your feedback directly. Additionally, I am considering the long-term goal of launching a YouTube Shorts channel to introduce vocabulary in an accessible way. It might be difficult to whip it up quickly while juggling my career, but I will try my best in my spare time.
